What Happens to Trusscore at End of Life?

Unlike composite or mixed-material products, Trusscore panels are made from a single material — PVC (polyvinyl chloride) — which makes them straightforward to recycle at end of life. Most PVC recycling programs accept the material for reprocessing into new PVC products.

PVC Production Is Energy-Intensive

Manufacturing PVC requires more energy than producing gypsum board. We're working with our supply chain to increase use of recycled PVC content and renewable energy in production.

PVC Recycling Infrastructure Is Still Growing

PVC recycling availability varies by region. While technically recyclable, not all municipalities have PVC-specific programs. We encourage customers to contact local recycling centers about PVC panel take-back options.

Not a Net-Zero Material Today

Trusscore panels do not currently carry certified carbon-neutral or net-zero credentials. Our environmental advantage is primarily in durability and waste reduction, not carbon sequestration or bio-based content.
